All blades are hand made one at a time from start to finish right here in my shop; from the layout and forging to the heat treatment, final finish work and honing. Every detail of the production is handled by me, personally.
The first priority is to provide an extraordinary blade that will take and hold the finest shaving edge possible, which requires the finest steel and heat treating and tempering of each blade individually to assure superior blade properties that cannot be duplicated or equalled by any mass production process.
This care and indivdual attention is largely why the "R" razors are considered by many to be the finest shaving blades in the world, which I then match up with scaling options and materials that are handpicked for their quality and beauty. The designs are varied and each razor is one-of-a-kind to complement the aesthetic preferences and shaving style and needs of each customer.
